Per WIRED JAPAN. 場所も土も道具も使わずに、自分の家庭菜園で育てた野菜を食卓に並べることができるシステムを、イタリアのスタートアップ企業Coltiverraがつくりだした。必要なのは、ノートパソコンひとつ。アプリを使って設定を済ませば、誰でも簡単にパソコンのなかに遠距離家庭菜園をもつことができる。 PHOTOGRAPHS COURTESY OF COLTIVERRA TEXT BY FABIO PARIANTE TRANSLATION BY TAKESHI OTOSHI     ローマ出身の35歳、オリヴェル・アストローロゴは、コミュニケーションとデジタル・イノヴェイションのプロだ。「無人島にもっていくならノートパソコンひとつだけ」と、彼はあるインタヴューで語っている。 アストローロゴは、スタートアップ企業Coltiverraの創設者として、家庭菜園を耕す手段をもたない人々に、プロジェクトのポータルサイトと開発中の専用アプリを通して、遠距離でその可能性を提供している。 仕組みはこうだ。利用者は、投資する菜園の種類、栽培する作物、肥料、さらに使用する灌漑の種類を選択する。すべて最短3カ月からの月額料金が設定されている。各菜園の周りには、ウェブカメラと温度センサーが設置されていて、アプリを通して、1日中リアルタイムで栽培の状態を見ることが可能だ。 現場では、専門家が菜園を監視する。ユーザーは、収穫物を家に送ってもらうか、企業に販売するか、Coltiverraプロジェクトのほかのユーザーと交換するか、さらには収穫物を、例えばソースやジャムに加工するかを選べる。 Continua Wired Japan.
