Retrospettiva a luce solida è il titolo della mostra monografica dedicata a Fabio Mauri (Roma, 1926-2009), magistrale esponente delle neo-avanguardie della seconda metà del XX secolo. La mostra al MADRE, la più completa mai dedicata all’artista negli ultimi due decenni, comprende più di cento opere, installazioni, azioni e documenti, che indagano la storia moderna e contemporanea nei suoi conflitti e nelle sue contraddizioni e trovano nell’intrinseco rapporto fra dimensione storica e dimensione etica il loro fulcro intellettuale ed emotivo, dando rappresentazione al pensiero, svelando i meccanismi di funzionamento della percezione e facendo affiorare i percorsi potenziali della memoria.
