1.Tell us what you do and your beginnings.

I am an engineer by education, but already in my last year of study I realized that I was interested in 3D graphics. I graduated from the Moscow Film School of Computer Graphics. I studied for two years, and after the first year of study I got a job in a studio that made graphics for major Russian and foreign films.

I was very inspired to be able to participate in creating effects for movies. For 8 years I worked as a VFX artist in cinema, three years ago I decided to change direction and develop in the art direction.

2.What does your work aim to say?

I create beautifully harmonious designs of objects with flow and serenity. In my works, I study the contrasting nature of objects and the way they react to light. What excites me the most is that on an abstract level everything is made from the same molecules; it is the way they assemble what gives an object its properties. That is why there are a lot of rough objects and soft clothes in my works.

3.Where do you find inspiration for your art?
